COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS
PART-TIME COMPETITIVE
The part-time competitive program was created for families looking for less time-commitment, but who are interested in additional performance opportunities. Dancers will take core classes in ballet, jazz and stretch with the option of adding acro, tap and hip hop. The part-time competitive company participate in 3 competitions in the spring as well as the Competitive Showcase and Year-End Recital.
FULL-TIME COMPETITIVE
KDC’s competitive company offers dancers progressive training in jazz, ballet, acro, hip hop, contemporary, and tap. Faculty and guest-choreographers create challenging and innovative choreography for dancers from ages 4-18. The Competitive Company participates in 4-6 competitions throughout Ontario as well as 1-2 conventions in Ontario and the U.S. Dancers also participate in a Competitive Showcase and Year-End Recital.
